Description: Do you want to be As Happy As A Clam?  Ever wondered what snails and clams eat, how they survive & stay protected from predation?  Join Conchologist Debra McCreary to learn about carnivorous, omnivore, and vegetarian univalves and bivalves and how they eat and adapt to hide from predators.  You will see how our shells have met their demise and how resilient that are.  Some smother their prey, some are wedgers, harpooners, sifters, drillers, and so many other ways to eat each other.  You will look at a shell on the beach in a totally different way. - You may not want to be a Happy Clam! Light refreshments. Take-home info.
